I call the Zamami Village Naha Office when the phone booking window opens — normally at 10:00 AM Japan time, one month before your sailing date.
Keep Redialing Through Busy Lines
Summer and holiday booking lines can be extremely busy. I call from within Japan and keep redialing to give your request the best possible chance.
Book Under Your Passenger Names
When seats are available, I reserve the requested sailing under the passengers’ names exactly as shown on their passports.
Check Your Backup Sailings
If your first choice is unavailable, I can ask about the backup sailing times you provide, including Queen Zamami and Ferry Zamami 3 options.
Receive Confirmation & Boarding Instructions
After a successful reservation, I send you the booking details and clear instructions for paying for and collecting your ticket at Tomari Port.

If I cannot secure your requested ferry or an approved backup sailing, you are not charged any service fee, deposit, or other cost. Ferry fares are separate and are paid by you at the port on the travel day.

How It Works
Contact me before the booking date
Please contact me at least 2–3 days before phone reservations open so I have time to confirm your information and preferred sailings.
Send your passenger and sailing details
Provide every passenger’s full name, age and nationality, plus the travel date, preferred sailing, backup times, and a contact phone number.
I call when reservations open
I call at 10:00 AM Japan time on the opening day and communicate with the booking office entirely in Japanese.
Pay only after a successful booking
If your reservation is secured, I send the confirmation and boarding instructions. You then pay my service fee. If no approved sailing can be booked, you pay nothing.
Important: Phone-allocation seats are limited, and this service cannot guarantee availability. Ferry operations can also change or be cancelled because of weather. Please check the official operation status on the morning of travel.

FAQ
When should I contact you?
Phone bookings normally open at 10:00 AM Japan time one month before the sailing date. Please contact me at least 2–3 days before that date so I can prepare.
What happens if the phone seats are also sold out?
You pay nothing. There is no service fee, deposit, or cancellation cost if I cannot secure your requested sailing or one of the backup options you approved.
Do you pay for the ferry tickets?
No. I make the reservation under your names. You pay the ferry fare yourself at the Tomari Port ticket counter on the travel day.
Is a successful reservation guaranteed?
No. The phone allocation is separate from online availability, but the number of seats is limited and can also sell out. Calling at opening time and providing backup sailings improves your chances.
Can you arrange a round trip?
Yes. Each direction may need to be handled as a separate one-way reservation. Contact me with both sailings and the number of passengers for a custom quote.
Can you book other islands or phone-only reservations?
Often, yes. I may also be able to help with Tokashiki or Aka ferries, restaurants, activities, and other phone-only reservations in Japan. Please contact me with the details.
